It's Factoid Friday! The Midland Trail is a route that preceded U.S. highway 6 in California and Nevada. First signed in 1915, the Midland Trail was the first route to connect the Lincoln Highway to Los Angeles, and therefore the first federal road to connect southern California to the rest of the United States.
